Karol is a pal of mine from Eastbania
who writes goodtime acoustic blues music. I occasionally play upright
bass and mandolin with Jared and the Kennebunkport
Symphony Orchestra. We also
appearoccasionally
as a duo.
Jared recently completed a brand new CD called "Live from San
Leandro," and yep, you guessed it... I play bass and mandolin
on most of this fine CD.

Gayle
Schmitt is a children's entertainer, educator
and singer songwriter who specializes in writing and performing
music for kids. I
have played mandolin with Gayle and "The Toodala Ramblers,"
for the past few years and have appeared on two of her great CDs,
"Everything
is a Song," and "Toodala:
Front Porch Favorites."

Bastard Brothers are a talented bluegrass/latin/vocal trio who
have enticed me to play upright bass with them. These guys are talented
actors with the San Francisco
Mime Troupe and their ability to reach any audience while bastardizing
familiar and offbeat tunes is the key to the bastards musical thing.
